Who are we at Cortana Systems?
Your IT services company
At Cortana Systems we work so that technology stops being a worry and becomes a solid base on which to grow the business. We do not come to impose systems or to complicate processes. We come to understand how you work and to help you do it better.
We are a small, local company, and that shapes the way we work for the better. Direct contact, technical judgement and a real commitment to each project. We like working with companies that value work done properly and long-term relationships.

A way of understanding technology, applied to everyday work
For many self-employed professionals and small companies, IT is essential until it fails. Then everything stops. That is where our approach starts: a stable technology base so the business can keep running.
We are not looking for spectacular solutions or grand statements. We look for coherent systems, properly configured and adapted to each company. Computers, networks, security, backups and technical support, so you do not have to watch the technology every day.
A highly qualified professional team
We work with a network of specialist partners that lets us cover specific areas without losing control or closeness to the client. The result is complete solutions, kept in proportion.

Putting processes in order is also how a company grows
Over the years we have seen that many problems are not strictly technical. They are problems of organisation, of unclear processes, or of decisions made long ago that no longer fit how things work now.
At Cortana Systems we pay close attention to how processes work. We look at how information moves through the company, where duplication appears, where data or time is lost, and we propose realistic improvements. Without overturning the way you work all at once. Without imposing a method.
In practice, that helps reduce errors, work more quickly and make better-informed decisions.

Current technology, applied with purpose
Digital transformation and artificial intelligence can bring a great deal of value, but only when they are applied with judgement. At Cortana Systems we bring in current technology — AI, automation, cybersecurity and cloud solutions — only when it has a real, positive impact on the business.
A project that worked
ATSAU: when putting processes in order changes the way people work
ATSAU – Andorra Turisme, SAU is the public company responsible for tourism promotion in the Principality of Andorra. Its work requires constant coordination between multiple departments, public and private stakeholders, as well as the management of large volumes of information and of cross-cutting administrative processes.
Over time, that organisational complexity had created difficulties inside the organisation. Even with professional teams and know-how, the processes were not always quick or easy to adapt to new needs.
The starting point
The organisation faced three main challenges:
- An excessive dependence on paper documents and manual procedures.
- Inflexible coordination between departments, which made any change slow and costly.
- A heavy administrative load, with dense processes that were hard to update.
In practice, that limited the ability to introduce new ways of working, or to change existing ones quickly, which matters in a sector as changeable as tourism.

The approach to the project
The solution was to rethink how internal processes were managed. It was not only about digitising documents. It was about defining, ordering and automating workflows, removing unnecessary manual tasks and reducing points of friction.
A key factor in the project was having a close technology partner who understood both the organisation and its local context. That made it possible to work alongside the ATSAU teams, from the design of the processes through to going live.
The implementation was based on:
- A simpler process design, so that it can evolve later.
- Information management from databases, reducing dependence on paper.
- The introduction of digital signatures and of criteria for security and data protection.
- A model designed for continuous improvement, not as a closed solution.
The results
The benefits were not long in coming. ATSAU achieved a clear improvement in the way it works, both operationally and organisationally.
Among the most notable results:
- Greater speed and flexibility when introducing new ways of working or changing existing ones.
- Better coordination between departments, with clearer and more accessible information.
- Fewer manual tasks and the errors that come with them.
- A system that makes it possible to work from anywhere, making access and continuity easier.
- A solid base so that internal processes can keep improving with judgement.
As ATSAU’s head of administration pointed out, process management made it possible to structure the organisation better and create synergies for orderly growth, improving day-to-day work and preparing the organisation for future challenges.
A key lesson
This project illustrates an idea that we at Cortana Systems fully share: technology applied with judgement does not only improve efficiency; it changes the way people work.
When processes are clear, flexible and properly supported by technology, organisations can react faster, work with more confidence and focus on what actually adds value.
